What Are You Doing Tonight?

Here are a few options for tonight:

1) Attend the St. Paul DFA Link Iraq War Forum:

WHAT: As the Iraq War continues to garner attention as one of the most significant issues of this election cycle, the St. Paul DFA Link Group is hosting a special Iraq War Forum on 9/11. The primary purpose of this forum is to open up a discussion, as opposed to a debate, to this critical issue that concerns us all. The forum will consist of a panel of four experts, a moderator, and audience questions.

Panelists include: Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer - Univ. of St. Thomas Peace and Justice Studies professor * Edward Morrissey - Heritage Foundation conservative blogger and radio show host * Phil Steger - Friends for a Nonviolent World director * Lou Ellingson - Swift Boat retired Navy captain and small business owner * Moderator: David Perry - Faculty member in the Macalester College Department of History

WHEN: Monday, September 11th - 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Macalester College - Weyerhaeuser Memorial Chapel
1600 Grand Ave., St. Paul, MN 55105

2) Attend the CD5 DFL Monday Night Midnight Madness GOTV Rally and Lit Drop:

When: Monday, September 11, starting at 9:00 pm (after the Vikings game)

Where: American Indian Center, 1530 E. Franklin Ave., Minneapolis 55404 (at the corner of Bloomington and Franklin)

What: Featuring remarks Betty McCollum, R.T. Rybak, Mark Ritchie, and Keith Ellison. After the rally we'll going out in groups to leave literature in every neighborhood that will remind voters Tuesday is Primary Day!


3) Watch/Listen to the 1st Vikings game of the season. (6-9PM)
*try ESPN, or some form of radio since it's likely that Bush will cut into the air time of the game on the local station starting at 8pm
