Vote for MN DFA All-Stars!

This month, Democracy for America is hosting an online vote to determine which Congressional candidate will receive our next DFA-List endorsement. All of the candidates in the competition are running for either a Republican-held seat or an open seat. We are excited to have two candidates from MN included on this list: Tim Walz (MN-01) and Coleen Rowley (MN-02)

Results are updated hourly and can be seen at Blog for America. Voting for the first round will begin on Wednesday, June 7 and close on Friday, June 16 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time. The top five candidates will advance to an instant run-off round starting on June 19 to determine DFA's next DFA-List candidate. (Be sure that your vote gets counted for the right person and email if it doesn't)

I'll try and get an update from Coleen Rowley (MN-02) after the state convention but below is note on why you should support Tim Walz (MN-01):

Tim Walz is running in the 1st Congressional District in Southern Minnesota. He is an award-winning public educator and the founder of a nonprofit organization that facilitates educational trips to China for local students. Tim served in Operation Enduring Freedom with his National Guard unit and retired last year at the rank of Command Sergeant Major. In Congress Tim will be an independent leader for southern Minnesota. He will work to ensure America both invests in students and fulfills promises made to veterans.
